CampBoks Lite 2.0

The generation 2.0 headrest locks into three positions. Raised, you sit comfortably against the back wall — for a book, a film or the last conversation of the day. For sleeping, you lay it back into a flatter position, from inside just as well as from the rear.

Underneath is a mattress that is ten centimetres thick in total, including the integrated topper. You don’t need to bring an extra pad.

On top of that comes the couch function of the 2.0 with two locking positions: more upright for working, pushed forward for relaxing. In the evening, the same surface becomes the bed in a few moves — without unloading your stowed luggage.

Stop, pull out the benches, sit down: the benches come out of the box cantilevered and create space right by the van for a coffee, a meal or a break for two. No setting up, no searching in the storage space.

Each side holds up to 200 kg, the pull-out table up to 50 kg. It doesn’t need legs or another move either once it’s out.

After the meal, table and benches disappear back into the box. So no camping furniture travels along and takes up space on the road.

The Lite 2.0 comes with ten Euroboxes: seven in the base storage, three more in the additional left pull-out. Clothes, kitchen stuff, tools and shoes get fixed places instead of wandering around loose in the load area.

All boxes have the same size of 40 × 30 × 27 cm — calculated, that adds up to around 324 litres of comparison volume (not a measured usable interior volume). You can take them out one by one, carry them into the house and pack them at home.

A continuous aluminium tray runs underneath the boxes. Take out a few boxes and backpacks or bags simply lie in it; long items like skis or fishing rods slide through the storage space via the pass-through system of the 2.0.

Inside and outside, it’s the same storage space — you just reach it from two sides. Through the inner flap, you grab what you need from the living area without putting on shoes and walking around the vehicle.

From the rear, you pull the drawers all the way out: handy when cooking, packing and gearing up happen outside anyway. The flat Euroboxes fit through the inner flap; the tall ones you take out via the rear.

Both together are the reason why the 2.0 stays easy to use even with a second row of seats installed — the vehicle check tells you what is possible in your vehicle.
